Anihan
    Anihan is an organization that advocates agrarian reform and rural development in the Philippines and around the world. Composed of a global consortium of intergovernmental, civil-society and bilateral organizations committed to the empowerment of the rural poor, it provides information, news and views about the topic from various segments of the collective sector. Its website contains an extensive list of related websites on this topic.
Philippine Agrarian Reform Foundation Inc.
    PARFUND is a six-year-old private grant funding mechanism that provides financial support for agrarian reform in the Philippines. It works for the speedy, creative and effective transformation of agrarian areas into viable communities, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the Philippines. It operates in a similar manner to the World Bank’s poverty alleviation campaign, although at a much smaller scale, partnering itself with both LGU’s and NGO’s to provide funding, technical and legislative assistance to poor displaced farmers. Its website contains links and contact information, as well as the requirements for gaining grant funding.
Philippine Rural Reconstruction Management
    The Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement is a non-government organization engaged in the design and implementation of community and habitat development programs across the archipelago. It offers technical support, planning and consultancy work for developing communities composed of a marginalized population. The website contains information regarding contact details, research materials and a list of links to other sites on the topic.
Rural Development Institute
    RDI is a nonprofit organization of lawyers working to help alleviate world poverty and political instability by advocating land rights for farmers in developing countries. The RDI believes that providing access to advice on legal and policy options will help expand and improve land rights for the rural poor, increase agricultural productivity, and promote the development of land markets.
Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas
    PhilDHRRA is comprised of 64 member-NGOs that are involved in appropriate technology, income generation, community organizing, education and training of grassroots leaders, agricultural extension, primary health care, cooperatives development, integration of gender and environment concerns and advocacy for agrarian reform. Its website contains an archive of completed projects, contact information and requirements for technical / financial aid.

Food and Agriculture Organization

This is the website of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. 

FAO was founded in 1945 with a mandate to raise levels of nutrition and standards of living, to improve agricultural productivity, and to better the condition of rural populations. 

It is one of the largest specialized agencies in the United Nations system and the lead agency for agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural development.

World Bank Group's Rural Development Portal

This portal provides various resources on rural development issues, the Bank's rural development strategy, projects and policies among others.

SERP-P or SocioEconomic Research Portal for the Philippines
    SERP-P is an online electronic database of completed, ongoing and pipeline research studies related to economic development and policymaking in the Philippines. It links various socioeconomic studies implemented by various research institutions such as the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), government agencies and the academe. At present, only PIDS studies and selected studies of a few universities and research institutions are contained in the SERP-P.But the database will be regularly updated to include the studies of other institutions. All pertinent data from abstracts, authors, focus of study, geographical coverage, and availability can be found in the SERP-P. Most of all, researchers can leaf through some of the studies' full text.

SOSIG Social Science Information Gateway
    SOSIG provides thousands of selected high quality Internet resources on social sciences, business and law.
Eldis Gateway to Development Information
    Eldis is a gateway to online information on development in countries of the South. Hosted by the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, UK, its coverage areas include social, economic, political and environmental issues. Eldis makes a qualititative selection of materials and structures it for easy access.
