Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)
    The DENR is mandated to be the primary government agency responsible for the conservation, management, development and proper use of the country’s environment and natural resources, including those in reservations, watershed areas and lands of the public domain, as well as the licensing and regulation of all natural resources utilization as may be provided by law in order to ensure equitable sharing of the benefits for the welfare of the present and future generations of Filipinos. The website provides information on the department’s activities, procedures for acquiring related permits, new legislation and links to attached agencies of the DENR.
European Partners for the Environment (EPE)
    EPE is a multi-stakeholder forum which builds the ground for consensus on sustainability, on which members can more confidently plan actions. EPE serves as a catalyst, in Europe and around the world, to achieve into the future a better balance between the environmental, social and economic elements of life. Dialogue built through long-term relationships between partners and strengthened by trust leads to common practical action.
World Wide Web Virtual Library: Sustainable Development
    This website compiles a comprehensive list of internet sites dealing with sustainable development, including organizations, projects and activities, electronic journals, libraries, references and documents, databases, and directories. It also provides links to other sites on related topics.
Best Practices Database
    The website is searchable database that contains over 1100 proven solutions from more than 120 countries to the common social, economic and environmental problems of an urbanizing world. It demonstrates the practical ways in which communities, governments and the private sector are working together to improve governance, eradicate poverty, provide access to shelter, land and basic services, protect the environment and support economic development. The site is a very useful resource for urban planners, policy makers, city managers, and community leaders in making informed decisions about issues that affect the environment.

This website provides access to an overview of the Bank's work on these and many other environmental issues and links to relevant activities across the Bank, both in the operational regions and in different sectors with which we work. Information about the Environment Strategy, our Operational and Safeguard Policies, our environmental work in the regions, projects, analytical studies, capacity-building efforts, partnerships, and publications can all be found through the navigation buttons on the left.

SERP-P or SocioEconomic Research Portal for the Philippines

    SERP-P is an online electronic database of completed, ongoing and pipeline research studies related to economic development and policymaking in the Philippines. It links various socioeconomic studies implemented by various research institutions such as the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), government agencies and the academe. At present, only PIDS studies and selected studies of a few universities and research institutions are contained in the SERP-P.But the database will be regularly updated to include the studies of other institutions. All pertinent data from abstracts, authors, focus of study, geographical coverage, and availability can be found in the SERP-P. Most of all, researchers can leaf through some of the studies' full text.

    The Development Gateway is an interactive portal for information and knowledge sharing on sustainable development and poverty reduction.
SOSIG Social Science Information Gateway
    SOSIG provides thousands of selected high quality Internet resources on social sciences, business and law.
Eldis Gateway to Development Information
    Eldis is a gateway to online information on development in countries of the South. Hosted by the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, UK, its coverage areas include social, economic, political and environmental issues. Eldis makes a qualititative selection of materials and structures it for easy access.
